Fresh Make-Up Look for Oily Face

On this summer season, our face has the tendency to look very oily and it’s even worse for those who already have oily face. We don’t wan’t to look haggard ,right? We want to have this fresh looking face throughout the day. I basically use 4 products for this look: Naturactor, Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder, a  Limecrime Riot and Avon Coral Shade Blush-on to create a Fresh Make-up look for oily face.

1.  Naturactor 151

Naturactor has 4 shades (130, 140, 141, 151)  and 1 corrector (171). Naturactor 130 has a pink undertone and is suitable for those who have very fair skin tone. Naturactor 140 has a yellow undertone and suitable for a fair skin tone. It is slightly deeper than the 130. Naturactor 141 has a medium color and suitable for medium skin tone. Naturactor 151 is suitable for Malay skin tone. Naturactor 171 neutralizes redness in your face.

Naturactor 151 is the best shade for a Morena or a Filipino skin. It has a long lasting coverage and a little product goes a long way. However it doesn’t come with an SPF, so I prefer adding a thin layer of BB cream with SPF underneath the naturactor. Make sure they have similar shade though. Naturatcor 151 instantly gives you a smooth, matte  and glowing skin.

2.  Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder is a mattifying powder. It has 6 shades: Transparent, Pink Blossoms, Peach Glow, Sandstorm, Silky Beige, and Nude Beige. It can make your face shine-free for a maximum of 5 hours.

Because I will be using this product on top of the Naturactor 151 which is already tinted, I prefer the Transparent. We have to make sure that our make-up will look as natural and fresh as possible. You know what’s good about this? It doesn’t look cakey on the face no matter how much layer you add. So when you notice that your face is starting to get really oily again, you can simply add another layer of this powder, keep it light though.

3. Limecrime Riot

Limecrime has been all over the internet lately. It’s a liquid lipstick and has a very sweet smell. It comes in a wide variety of shades. The thing with liquid lippies is that they last longer and they don’t smudge! But like any other liquid lipstick, Limecrime has a powdery finish and is kinda drying on the lips. So if you are not into liquid lipsticks, you can use regular ones that are in coral shade.
If you are using a liquid lipstick, make sure that you have exfoliated your lips with a lip scrub or just with your toothbrush. That way, liquid lipstick can glide smoothly in your lips. Nude shades can also make you look fresh but coral shades like this Limecrime Riot works better for a morena or a Filipino skintone.

4. Avon Coral Shade Blush On

I got this really awesome Avon  Fold-up make-up palette from my Mom. It has a diverse shade of lipgloss and eye shadows but what I love more about this is the blush on. I know their eye shadows are not highly pigmented but their Blush Ons really work! For a fresh make-up look, I like using a coral shade blush-on and keeping it subtle. You don’t want to overdo it or you’ll end up looking like a clown. Don't forget to blend it evenly!

Optional:

Winged Liner- If you’re a huge fan of winged liner like me, you can also add it but as subtle as possible.
