When we were kids, we don't use almost anything for our face except for a "Baby Powder". As we go into puberty, we started to get concious on how we look, we started noticing pimples, blackheads and oily skin. We've got teenage crushes so we want to look as presentable as possible (without imperfections) For myself, the very first facial wash I used is from Pond's. I became an avid user since then because it suits well on my face. As I am writing my first product review, maybe it is just right that I will do it from the same brand.

The product is the Pond's White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel. I know you've heard of this already. I bought it in Watson's for Php 155.00 (100g).

It is an Oxygenated Gel with Pearl Essence for fair,fresh skin. It's packaging is transparent and the lid can't be separated from the body. The lid is very tight which is a good thing because it will avoid spilling whenever it's in your bag. You have to be careful though, you have to make sure that the lid is perfectly close. You have to exert a bit of force to close it.

At the back says that the Pearl Essence is known to give glowing and fair skin while the oxygenated gel formula refreshes and cleanses your skin. The contents has a transparent color with little bubbles on it and it has a very pleasant smell.

This cleansing gel feels slippery when you lather it on your face. The slippery feeling doesn't go away after washing it with water. But as you dry your face with a towel,the slippery feeling turns into a bit sticky and dry  but you will feel the freshness in your face. Around 10 minutes later, your face feels soft, young and firm.

The picture above is a before and after photo. There's not much difference visually except for the smile, but when you feel the skin you'd probably be amazed. My face feels very oily before I washed it with the Pond's White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel but after washing, it just feel so clean and soft.

Pros:

• Tight lid, doesn't easily spill.
• Pleasant scent (flowery).
• Good packaging, easy grip,travel friendly
• Leaves your skin clean and very soft when you let it set.

• The lid is hard to close.
• The sticky and dry feeling after drying it with towel.

Pond's White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel is an incredible product. Although it may feel dry and sticky immediately after drying with towel, it will eventually deliver you it's claims for a soft and clean facial skin when you let it set for a few minutes and let your face's natural oils blend with it. As for the claims for giving you a fair skin, I can't really say that it is false. I believe that you will get the results if you will continuously use the product.The length of time it will take will depend on your routines and your exposure to the sun. Too much sun damage your skin you know.

Should I recommend this product? Yes, Especially those who have oily skin because it tends also to reduce oil in your face.
